Your 1st Class -What to Expect
One of the most important thing you can do in your first yoga class is to tell your teacher that you're new. This way, you get to introduce yourself and let them know about any injuries or areas of focus for your body that you would like them to be aware of. While each class has a different feel and vibe, the beginning of each class typically starts with a warm-up, followed by energy-moving postures where you’ll probably sweat, then gentle stretches to get muscles relaxed. By the end of the class you’ll lie on the floor, breathing in that beautiful dreamland called 'Savasana.' |
